The Christiania Classic Christiania Classic Light is one of our most popular models. Nimble, light and a pleasure to ride. Designed specifically for the transport of one or two children. The Buggatti Panorama rain hood is extremely versatile, and makes the bike seem even smaller. The lower front panel allows for a better view ahead and an even more enjoyable ride. It is common for children to move into our cargo bikes. It is not only about transporting children safely to kindergarten, the playground or on other trips. It is also about giving children an extra space for more intimacy and enjoyment. It is still one of the lightest and fastest cargo bikes on the market. The Christiania Classic rolls so smoothly and swiftly, it is just a pleasure to ride. Fitted generally with seven speed and coaster brake (three and eight speed are also available), and with a tight turning circle, it is surprising manoeuvrable in most urban settings. Two choices of seats: a wooden bench, with optional pillow, or a soft seat; both are for two chldren and come standard with a lap-belt. For children younger than two, an additional three-point harness can be fitted. Climbing on board is aided by an aluminium step. If you have three or four children (or if you plan to transport your children’s friends regularly), choose the straight option, so that an extra bench can be fitted. The turning radius is only 480 cm making it a surprisingly manoeuvrable cargo bike in most urban settings. The total width of 87cm has been designed to make it possible to easily enter normal sized backyard doors in Copenhagen.
