Over time, these rotors can thin out, warp, or develop deep grooves that compromise safety and lever feel. The Drag Specialties 11.5″ Drilled Stainless Steel Front Rotor is engineered to be the perfect replacement—offering better-than-OEM quality, enhanced thermal management, and a mirror-like finish that stays bright long after the stock units have dulled. Advanced Material and Surface Precision Each rotor is laser-cut from high-carbon 420 stainless steel, a material specifically chosen for its ability to withstand extreme heat cycles without losing its structural integrity. Unlike cheap replacements, this rotor is induction-hardened and diamond-ground to an exacting tolerance. Dyna Models (2000–2005): Super Glide, Low Rider, and Wide Glide. Touring Models (2000–2007): Road King, Street Glide, and Electra Glide (Dual-disc models require two). Note: Not for use on 2008-up Touring models which require 11.8″ (300mm) rotors. Installation and Pad Recommendation To maintain the high-luster stainless finish, Drag Specialties recommends using Organic or Semi-Sintered brake pads. These compounds provide a quiet, smooth stop and are less abrasive on the metal surface than full-sintered pads.
