Dual card slots for CFexpress Type B and SD UHS‑II cards give you flexible and reliable storage for professional work.32.5MP Full-Frame Sensor and DIGIC X ProcessingThe 32.5MP full‑frame CMOS sensor gives you more detail, cropping room, and print resolution than previous R6 models. Together with the DIGIC X processor, it produces clean images with low noise across a wide ISO range. The processor also powers fast continuous shooting, advanced AF, 7K recording, and in‑body image stabilization at the same time.Borrowed from the EOS R3, the high‑speed processing lets the R6 Mark III shoot up to 40 fps with the silent electronic shutter or 12 fps with the mechanical shutter, both with full AF and AE tracking. A Pre‑Continuous Shooting mode can capture up to 20 frames before you fully press the shutter, which helps you catch split‑second action.SCN Shooting ModesScene (SCN) modes help new shooters get great results straight out of camera without heavy editing. It can record 7K up to 60p internally in 12‑bit Canon RAW Light, or output up to 7K 30p ProRes RAW to an external recorder. For very sharp 4K, the 4K FINE mode oversamples from 7K to create cleaner DCI 4K and UHD 4K files in high‑quality codecs.​Open Gate 3:2 7K 30p recording gives you a larger capture area for social content, so you can crop the same clip into vertical 9:16, square 1:1, or other aspect ratios. Slow‑motion is also much stronger than on the R6 Mark II, with DCI and UHD 4K up to 119.8p and Full HD/2K up to 179.8p for smooth 5x or more slow‑down. A dedicated S&F (Slow and Fast) mode on the dial lets you quickly set resolution, frame rate, playback speed, and compression. LUTs and Color ControlFor color‑critical work, Canon Log 2 offers over 15 stops of dynamic range for flexible grading in post. You can load 17‑ or 33‑grid .cube LUTs into the camera and apply them as Custom Picture profiles while you record, or bring LUTs in via the Canon Camera Connect app.​A new Custom Picture menu gives direct access to Canon Log 2, Canon Log 3, HLG, PQ, Canon 709, BT.709, and a set of 14 Color Filters for in‑camera looks on JPEGs and MP4 clips.
