The K-Tek 6-Section Atriculated Boompole is a very lightweight, superbly engineered, and meticulously crafted 6 section boompole; made of a graphite fiber derivitive in a black matte finish. Is available in two different model: The KA113 Articulated Klassic Boompole has a collapsed length of 2’2″ | 66cm and an extended length of 9’5″ | 287cm and only weighs 1.8lbs | 806g. This 6-section Articulated Boompole is uncabled. The top attachment is a 3/8″ – 16 male thread and the bottom attachment is a Collar with Rubber bottom. With the trend toward longer takes, K-Tek’s patented articulated design allows the pole to be held from hip position or with the mushroom base set on the ground (great for 2-person interviews). Originally designed for ENG, K-Tek?s Articulated Boompole is unique with a bending joint that allows the top 2 sections to be set angled in one of 5 locking positions. Like K-Tek’s award-winning Klassic Poles, the Articulated Pole is made of high-density graphite selected for maximum strength & minimum weight with a burnished low handling-noise finish.
